The society has successfully worked on projects for Rajasthan Road Safety Education and Awareness Mission, Helmet Incentive Education Awareness & Essentiality and Most Safe School Award.
Having envisioned to reduce road crashes and resulting fatalities, Dr. Veerendra Singh Rathore, the Former President of Rajasthan Parivahan Nirikshak Sangh – Jaipur visualized a project titled Rajasthan Road Safety Education & Awareness Mission to create road safety awareness in masses. He presented the project to Hindustan Zinc Limited, Udaipur. Considering his vision and experiences, Hindustan Zinc Limited agreed to sponsor the project. Later in 2015, Dr. Rathore laid the foundation of the organization Rajasthan Sadak Suraksha Society. The Society comprises of experienced Transport Officers, Advocates, Engineers, Educationist, Trauma Specialist Doctors, IT expert, Drivers and Media persons. All are working with specific & unique strategy on the Road Safety with positive attitude. The society is working towards reducing the road crashes and fatalities by creating awareness various community groups. Till September 2021, the Society has educated 6 Lakh people through various activities conducted at various parts of the state.
