1. Road Safety Initiative in Ujjain Khumbh Simhastha
Rajasthan Sadak Suraksha Society organized a Sadhu Sant Karyashala during Ujjain Kumbh Simhastha in May 2016 and educated the saints on road safety. The purpose creating awareness on road safety among the saints gathered at the Kumbh was to propagate the message of road safety to their devotees and teach them the truth about road crashes that they are preventable.
2. Reflective Tape Campaign
To prevent road crashes occurring at night due to reduced visibility, Reflective Tape Campaign was introduced in five districts of Rajasthan including Ajmer, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Rajasamand and Udaipur. Under this campaign reflective belt was installed on around 2,400 stray animals and more than 15,000 two wheelers.
