About Rajasthan Sadak Suraksha Society

Rajasthan Sadak Suraksha Society is registered non-profit organization serving for the cause of road safety. The society was registered in 2015 and since then it is serving for the noble cause of road safety. The NGO is registered under the Society Registration Act, 1958 and have obtained 80G & 12A Certifications under Income Tax Act, 1961. It is also registered in DARPAN Portal of NITI AAYOG, Government of India having Registration Id RJ/2016/0108732. The society has also worked in close coordination with All India Federation of Motor Vehicle Department Technical Executive Officers Association and Rajasthan Parivahan Nirakshak Sangh. The Society comprises road safety professionals covering various road safety stakeholders such as Trauma Specialist, Road Safety Auditor, Accident Analyst, Highway Engineers, Educationists, Transport Specialists and Media Professionals. Society also owns a well-equipped Road Safety Mobile Van having LCD TV, Projector and Public Address System.

Vision & Mission of the Society

Reduce road accidents and deaths by developing safe road culture and environment for all road users through implementations of 6Es of road safety viz. Engineering of Vehicle, Engineering of Road, Education, Enforcement, Emergency Care, and Environment.

Objectives of the Society

  • Perform duties with utmost integrity towards the National Government hereby respecting the provisions enlisted in the Constitution of India.
  • To bring awareness among public through road safety education to reduce road accidents in the state.
  • To train students of various educational institutions on road safety.
  • To prepare road safety trainers by imparting Training of Trainers (ToT) in the state.
  • Establish driver training institute for preparing groups of skilled drivers.
  • Conduct research and analysis on road safety issues.
  • Conduct road safety audit analysis and reconstruction of road accidents.
  • Propagate vehicle and road standards in to common road users to develop safe road culture.
  • Suggest the government to improve the existing transport system.
  • Establish colleges and universities related to road safety and other road safety institutions.
  • Work on road safety as non-profit making organization in the state and encourage other institutions to work for the cause.
  • Recognize and reward good samaritans who help the road accident victim.
  • Publication of newspaper, magazine with print and electronic media for creating road safety awareness.
  • Publication of booklets and literature on road safety.
  • Develop clean, healthy and safe road culture in the society.
  • Change behavior of the road users through folklore music and dance.
  • Work for welfare in collaboration with other organizations on road safety and related issues.
  • Suggest measures for improvement in public transport for welfare of the public.
  • Implement measures based on Intelligent Transport System by studying the legal and technical aspects for improving transportation.
  • Cooperate and assist organizations working in the field of road safety
  • Prepare road safety trainer for promoting the helmet leaders.
  • Do all the work that is linked to road safety in the interest of the common man
